The name Amity House comes from the Latin "amicus" meaning friend.
Built in 1936 as a wedding gift to a first-born son, Amity House is an 89-year testament to family, history and community. It's a piece of Richfield heritage, restored through persistence, dedication and vision, now honored and preserved as Amity House, Restored.
